In March 1993, six musicians who were established in their own right, got together and made some great music. After a good few weeks of rehearsals and all the hard work that goes into putting a band together, they became Mirage.

They soon collectively established themselves as one of the best function bands around when they started playing regularly for Wedding Receptions, Corporate Events, Birthday Parties, Charity Events, Leavers Balls, Anniversary Parties etc, around Yorkshire and beyond. Mirage soon gained a faithful following and an enviable clientele that continue to come back for more of them and their music, year on year!

Through their diverse amount of experiences, Mirage have gained an enormous amount of ingenuity for making an event everything it should be….dance floors full, people getting loose, laughing-singing-twisting, lights flashing, pumping sounds, (don’t worry they’re not loud!) everything that makes for an unforgettable, fantastic party.

These guys (sorry Lorraine’ I generalize) have amazing enthusiasm for every individual gig they do and an abundance of energy – jumping on and off stage, dancing and singing with dancers on the floor, getting guests up to sing…amazing!

The band carry a responsive, high quality PA system that ensures they deliver a vibrant, clean and comfortable-on-the-ears sound. Their lighting system is state of the art and produces a radiant visual atmosphere to set a perfect scene.

The classic band of Mirage is made up of six musicians. Depending on your requirements, they can offer solutions to suit your needs, from a smaller band for select events/smaller venues… to a much BIGGER band of eight plus, for those of their clients who would like no holds barred! The choice is yours…

Lorraine is also individually booked to sing at weddings for either church or civil ceremonies, small private events such as dinner/garden parties – with one or two other musicians, restaurants for private groups of diners etc… Please do inquire!
